monocle now deploys from github

That's it, that's the post.
Just kidding.
To elaborate more, Monocle for Dynamo has loaded the correct version for you based on your Dynamo install for quite some time. Rhythm has done the same, but Rhythm took it further and downloaded the correct binaries on the fly from Github. This has enabled me to patch bugs, add new features, and release new versions very easily. I wanted this for Monocle, but with Monocle being so heavily UI-based, it was a bit more involved.
If you visit Monocle's Github today, here is what you will see under the deploy section:

That's right, it is a specific monocle build for every Dynamo version I am trying to support. Note: this list was created from the awesome list on the Dynamo primer here: https://primer2.dynamobim.org/a_appendix/host-integration-map
This has been a long time in the making, and it seems to work well so far. However, all of us on the Dynamo team are working to make the Dynamo package manager infinitely better every day, and I do see a future where I don't have to do this. For more information on the awesome changes coming up, check out the blog post here:

Thanks for reading. Look for more from me on my "package creation journey" over the last ten years.
